Bilawal meets Saudi, UAE counterparts

NEW YORK    –   Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Farhan separately here yesterday on sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting with UAE foreign minister, Bilawal discussed the fraternal relations between the two countries; and explored ways and means to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation.

The foreign ministers agreed to deepen investment cooperation and stimulate economic partnership through active participation of the private sector from both sides. The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest. Sheikh Abdullah expressed sincere condolences and solidarity with Pakistan over the loss of precious lives and damage to infrastructure. During the meeting with Saudi foreign minister, both the leaders discussed bilateral relationship and the situation in Middle East.
