Senator Mirza Muhammad Afridi has been elected as President of CFP, and Imtiaz Ahmed Mughal as President of CAA

Senator Mirza Muhammad Afridi has been elected unopposed as President of Chess Federation of Pakistan CFP. He was the only candidate nominated for the vacant post, after the sad demise of former PresidentSenatorKalsoomParveen(late). All members of Board of Governors and Presidents of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, KPK, GilgitBultistan and Azad Kashmir unanimously voted for him to head the CFP.

Senator Mirza Muhammad Afridi has been elected unopposed as President of the Chess Federation of Pakistan CFP. He was the only candidate nominated for the vacant post after President Senator KalsoomParveen (late). All members of the Board of Governors and Presidents of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, KPK, Gilgit Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir unanimously voted for him to head the CFP. The special meeting of the board was headed by delegate Vice President of CFP Malik Muhammad Ameen. The ceremony was also graced online by Mr. Bharat Sing Chowan, General Secretary Asian Chess Federation
